About the Studio

Intentional Play. Our Philosophy.

We approach game design with deliberate purpose. Every mechanic, system, and detail is there because someone decided it earns its place.

We believe the best games come from a clear vision executed with discipline. Every system we build serves the player experience first. A mechanic ships because it makes you feel something.

What We're Building

Rat Dracula is an indie game studio building Controlled Consumption. You are a chef building an underground food empire in a world where all food is illegal. Every expansion makes your operation more complex and more fragile, and every success makes you harder to hide.

See Something. Smell Something.
Say Something.

Food Enforcement Division

Controlled Consumption

In a walled city where all food is illegal and citizens survive on Ion, a government nutritional paste, you are a chef. An old friend says there's serious money cooking real food for desperate people. You arrived with nothing. You are homeless in the slums. Your first ingredient is a sewer rat.

Build an underground food empire from the sewers up. Source ingredients, cook dishes, deliver to clients, and grow your operation.

Cook Under Pressure

You are watching food cook over a barrel fire. A patrol just turned the corner. A client is waiting. Do you pull the food now or hold out for a better dish?

The Price of Fame

Every delivery grows your reputation and your danger. You cannot become more famous without becoming more hunted.

Start With Nothing

You start with nothing in the slums. A barrel fire is your first kitchen. A sewer rat is your first ingredient. Your first customer is desperate enough to eat it.

The F.E.D.

The Food Enforcement Division. Military gear. Tactical raids. All over food. They will take everything you built.

Multiplayer

Run the operation together. More hands, more output, more attention. The crew scales the operation. The operation scales the danger.

The Domino Effect

Everything in your operation is connected. That is what makes it powerful. That is what makes it fragile.

The Experience

What It Feels Like to Play

01

Forbidden Craft

Practice a skilled trade the world has made illegal. You are a chef working a flame, earning every dish through attention and skill.

02

Rags to Riches

From sewer rats and a barrel fire to a citywide underground empire. Every step up is earned. Every step up is precarious.

03

Cat and Rat

The F.E.D. adapts to you. Evade patrols, dodge raids, and feel the net tighten as your reputation grows.

04

Notoriety

Your name is your greatest asset and your greatest liability. Fame opens doors. Heat kicks them in.

05

The Operator

You start doing everything yourself. You end up running a network of cooks, couriers, and kitchens. The complexity comes from managing more moving parts, and every part can break.

06

Food Prohibition

The illegal thing is food. Your clients are people who remember what real flavor tasted like. You are feeding a city that forgot what eating feels like.
